Companion Animal and Equine Massage

Massage is not only a great “treat”, it also promotes relaxation to support overall health, and:
  • Helps detect changes in pet’s health
  • Reduces muscle tension, cramping & soreness
  • Enhances muscle function and efficiency
  • Increases circulation and removes toxins

Specific animal behaviors such as rubbing, licking and applying pressure, indicate that massage is used instinctively to relieve pain and respond to injury.

  • Reduces recovery time from injury or sore muscles
  • Reduces mental and physical fatigue
  • Increases human animal bond and awareness
  • Aids in injury prevention
  • Helps achieve full range of movement through increased flexibility

The approach to animal massage is generally light, working with the body to help it heal itself.
